To further expand the momentum of Jewish theatre we are excited to announce OUR SECOND STAGE - an initiative to discover and develop new ideas and scripts.
Without the bells and whistles of a full production, OUR SECOND STAGE will present staged readings of exciting new plays in various stages of script and/or production development. Professional actors and a director/dramaturg will work together in the week prior to the presentation, and audience members will be able to share their thoughts about the play directly after the show.
We are incredibly excited about the initiative and hope that in the future OUR SECOND STAGE will run as an ongoing series alongside our annual MainStage production.
And here's the best part....
We invite YOU to send us plays, monologues, memoirs, poems, extracts from books that you have written for our 2024 season! Do you have a story that we absolutely have to hear? Do you have a buried play script or short story you’d love to have read by professional actors?
Send them to us. We want our community to be part of the creative process.
